Little bird sitting on a branch of a Jacobean tree of life, these are a joy to carve with thier fantastic flowers and birds. Handthown and carved freehand in stoneware pottery and painted in translucent glazes to highlight the carving against a soft satin cream background. Then finished off with a soft patina green on the outside. The results are both beautiful and unique. All the work on this website is individually produced by me in my home studio. Stoneware is a strong, high fired pottery, it is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 16cm wide 3cm high.
