A lovely bowl carved with an intricate flower pattern picked out in soft translucent colours on a satin cream background. This one is one of the most complex I have carved, sadly it also sports the worst stress crack I have encountered which appeared in the glaze firing. It has been filled, re-glazed and re-fired so it is no longer very obvious and its strength is unaffected. The last 2 pictures show the crack top and bottom. Like all my items it is a one off and completely hand made, the pattern carved free hand to fit the piece, so no two will ever be exactly the same. All my pieces are created individually by me in my home studio. I work in stoneware so items are pretty tough, food, dishwasher and microwave safe. Dimensions Height 5 cm Diameter 18 cm.
