A pretty little Kingfisher on the look out for his next fish with vibrant yellow flag irises in the background. This is handthown and carved freehand in stoneware pottery and the pattern painted in translucent glazes to highlight the carving. The results are both beautiful and unique. All the work on this website is individually produced by me in my home studio. Stoneware is a strong, high fired pottery, it is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 19cm wide 4cm high.
