Here we have a shallow bowl with hand carved pattern on the outside in a lovely vibrant blue and a smoky purple inside. This effect is achieved by glazing and wiping back to leave colour in just the design. I'm still developing this technique, I got a bit too much glaze in the design on this one, so there is unfortunately some running, as shown in the picture. So its being sold as a 2nd. Like all my items it is a one off and completely hand made, the pattern is carved freehand to fit the piece, so no two will ever be exactly the same. All my pieces are created individually by me in my home studio. I work in stoneware so items are pretty tough, food, microwave and dishwasher safe. Any questions please do ask.
