This is one of the most ambitious bowls I have created so far, a good size and lots of carved pattern. I am a bit in love with this style, its a real joy to carve, lots of scope for flights of fancy. The pattern is picked out in soft translucent colours on a satin cream background. Like all my items it is a one off and completely hand made, the pattern carved free hand to fit the piece, so no two will ever be exactly the same. All my pieces are created individually by me in my home studio. I work in stoneware so items are pretty tough, food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
