A very curvy bowl or shallow vase with a burnished outside and glazed interior. Unlike most of my pieces this has no glaze on the outside, relying on burnishing and a light wax polish to create its very tactile finish. To retain the polished surface from burnishing this piece has not been fired to nornal stoneware temperatures. Like all my items it is a one off and completely hand made, the glaze combinations in the hands of the Kiln God, so no two will ever be exactly the same. All my pieces are created individually by me in my home studio. I work in stoneware so items are pretty tough, but in this case not suitable for food due to the waxed surface .
