This tree pattern grew out of the Jacobean tree of life, a little more restrained and elegant. This is handthown and carved freehand in stoneware pottery and the pattern painted in translucent glazes to highlight the carving against a soft satin cream background. The results are both beautiful and unique. All the work on this website is individually produced by me in my home studio. Stoneware is a strong, high fired pottery, it is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 19,5cm wide 4cm heigh.
