This octopus is a bit of fun with a nod to Minoan art, thier sea creatures are full of life, which I hope I've captures in this little chap. This is handthown and carved freehand in stoneware pottery and painted in translucent glazes to highlight the carving producing a beautiful and unique piece. All the work on this website is individually produced by me in my home studio. Stoneware is a strong, high fired pottery, it is food, dishwasher and microwave safe. 20cm wide 4cm heigh.
